More members = more trails! Membership is an important part of how SDMB funds our projects, such as 100-Acre Wood Bike Park, McKenzie Ranch, Big Wash Trail, and Tucson Mountain Park. Join SDMB through IMBA’s membership drive page and get entered to win a Yeti Dream Bike!
Join SDMB tomorrow night (Thursday, 4/20) from 4-8 PM at Green Feet Brewing Company for a Beer Night Fundraiser! Mountain Bikers Get Recognition from Pima County Board of Supervisors
Yesterday SDMB and our volunteers were recognized by the Pima County Board of Supervisors as part of Pima County Volunteer Appreciation Week. We can’t say it enough- huge, huge thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who help build and maintain trails in Pima County!
Upcoming Starr Pass Build Days

McKenzie Ranch Update
After months of negotiation with the Arizona State Land Department, Pima County has finally acquired the Right of Way for the access road to McKenzie Ranch and we are one step closer to breaking ground! Pima County is getting ready to blade the parking lot and install the fencing, then we will begin construction of Pima County’s first-ever XC race venue. Stay tuned in the next few months for more details!
100-Acre Wood Update
Progress continues on 100-Acre Wood Bike Park! The City of Tucson is working on site cleanup, and SDMB has contracted with Hilride Progression Development to design 4-6 miles of MTB-specific singletrack in May. We expect to start construction in the Fall.
